I hear people who say they have heard Bigfoot. I have watched numerous TV shows that are searching for Bigfoot. What I have never seen was anything that would have been eaten, killed, gutted, buried by one. No one has ever shown where one supposedly bedded down. If there is one there must be another one somewhere. If so when do they mate? I figure we will get to actually see one right after pigs fly OR hell freezes over. Yep, I personally think it and the Loch Ness monster are kin. For me the BS METER is pegged.

No,i don't believe in them either, but i love to watch "Finding Bigfoot". Lots of fun watching those guys running around at night. I guess it kinda brings the kid in me out again!

Sometimes believers have more fun. A walk in the woods or a squish squash through a swamp is very different with bigfoots than without. Every sound, every whiff of something strange is so much more interesting when it could be THEM.

I don't know if they exist or not. I just know there is a lot of explaining to account for if they don't. I know there are a lot of idiots out there, but some apparently reliable people have seen them. How can that be??? I enjoy the shows.

Did you notice the reduction in the number of sightings since cell phones
and "{anti(?)}social media"?

:D

I had a room mate in College that brought one home from the bar one night...

Considering the number of "trail cams" in use, if a good clear pic isn't produced soon, I'm declaring it "seriously doubtful". Not impossible but extremely unlikely.
I spend a LOT of time outside and in the woods and have heard some pretty strange noises but nothing close to what BF is claimed to sound like. The most confusing evidence is the rock throwing. There is no animal in the woods with the capability to pick up and throw a rock.

A lot of those idiots were like you until they saw one. If you saw one, who would believe you? A weekend in the woods for some limy movie maker, does not mean people who lived there their whole lives have not had an unexpected encounter with one. It just means a weekend limy movie maker couldn't find one. Some people say the holocaust didn't happen others say we never went to the moon. If the proof you demand were found, would you still say the proof was faked?
I poke fun at bigfoot myself, I even have a bigfoot rifle. Of course it is also my UFO rifle. Maybe bigfoot is an alien species.

As a biologist in the NW, I have looked at some of the evidence in person and say the jury is out (No opinion, either way). As Ricky would say "Lucy, you got some splaining to do!").

However, I was watching (because it was supposedly here in the Blue Mountains) one episode and nearly busted a gut when the "Wildlife Biologist" exclaimed "Look, a herd of deer!" (They were cow elk!)

Yep, I'm a doubter too, for me, the proof is that I never saw one in a South Georgia carnival "Captured Alive" and on display---or in one of the many tourist attractions that used to line Hgy 301 from the South Carolina line through Georgia and into North Florida after all, several of them had "The World's Biggest Snake" or "The World's biggest Alligator" on display.
I'll have to admit though, I thought I saw a sasquash at one of the carnivals I went to, but it turned out that he worked there, I saw him packing up items , getting ready to move on to the next town.

I've seen gorillas (Trib at the San Diego Wild Animal Park, for one) throw feces at people and films of wild gorillas and chimps throwing sticks and rocks.

Monkeys in The Philippines were deadly accurate.

I have seen that idea presented before - someone made a "study" of increased BF sightings and correlated them to increased UFO sightings. Me, I don't know what to believe, but I won't say "impossible" just yet.

Don't remember the name but years ago the Diego Zoo there had a chimp that would do Tricks until a large crowd gathered; THEN it would pelt them with feces it had piled up nearby; They had to put up a plexiglass screen in front of the cage. Of course too they had a Minah Bird that sailors had taught to Curse; it got so bad they had to take it off display.
Should I mention the Zoo in Oklahoma City? They had a big pit with a monkey Island in the middle; the monkeys would swing and do tricks until they gathered a large crowd (On a nice warm Sunday afternoon) then one monkey would start screeching and running around the island to the delight of all the crowd and their children; it's finale was to run up a pole and start ringing the bell and at that instant ALL the monkeys on the Island would start indulging in , shall we say, "Reproductivity actions" ??
Should seen the parent hustle the kids away !!

Here's a link to an article about fingerprint evidence:

The site www.bfro.net has a whole lot of reports about sightings. It's interesting reading.

Call me a skeptic! ps

I used to chuckle at the Bigfoot stories and theories but in the past few years I have allowed myself to entertain the possibility they actually exist, for a multitude of logical reasons. It will be an interesting moment if we someday find irrefutable evidence of their existence and explanations as to what they are. I am waiting but not holding my breath.

One of the reasons in believing in the possibility of Bigfoot is that we live in a virtual reality, anyway. Somebody or something has the power to bend the rules.

There was a Bigfoot sighting many years ago a few miles from my house. I never heard of it, nor was it on t.v. but there is a fairly detailed article on the net, Bigfoot in Barbour county Alabama. They must hole up in kudzu during the day. Does it make me a believer? No. But I have seen some pretty strange stuff in the woods in the last fifty years.

Here's one...
