This past Saturday morning I decided to do a quick walk through at the local gun show. I was there mainly to witness the mania going on with price gouging involving "assault rifles" and high cap mags. What a zoo......... Anyway, I saw an elderly gentleman sitting alone with a few rifles he was selling. He had an old Marlin and a couple of Auto 5 Brownings. Also laying there was the prettiest looking Winchester 9422 I have seen in a long time. I asked him about this rifle and he said he bought it in 1981 and was the last firearm he purchased. I asked why he was selling his guns and he informed me he had no children or other persons to pass them on to and that he was "tired" and had lost interest, needing the money more than the guns. I made a deal with him on the Winchester. He told me he shot it for function ad took it out once more to plink with a friend. Other than that it lived in a safe. It truly does have the prettiest butt stock I have seen on one of these little Winchesters..... :D The pictures don't do it justice........
