Anyone use "Tom's Key Company" top get and program a spare key?

My Granddaughter has a 2013 Jeep Compass and when they bought the car, it only came with one key. If you go to a dealer, they want an arm and a leg to cut and program a new one using the original key and the car. Tom's Key Company will sell you a key, cut the new key using photos of the front and the back of the original and send it to you with a device that plugs into your OBD port on the car and after a few steps, you have a second key that works, You can also program up to six other keys for the same car only.

Just curious if there are any experiences with them?

Do you know what they charge? As I recall, I paid $135 to a locksmith to get a spare key and fob for a 2008 Grand Marquis about 5 years ago.

I haven't used Tom's Keys, but a year or so ago I ordered a set of Chevy keys and remotes off Amazon; 24.95+ tax. Had the local hardware store cut the keys, and I followed the instructions for programming the remotes. And I'll be darned, everything works just like the factory stuff..
