I put a full size Ruger 1911 in layaway to go along with my Ruger 1911 Commander.
I had the Ruger 1911 CMD picked up to see if they could take some of the barrel play or up and down verticle movement out maybe change the barrel link to help solve this issue. Will wait and see what happens to the commander for sure.

I have changed barrel links on 1911s myself, this is very easy.

Ruger did a great job on fixing my 1911 cmd. Love this pistol so very very much. Looking forward to getting the full size one out of lay away.....

I have changed barrel links on 1911s myself, this is very easy.

I thought about doing it myself that is changing the link out but pistol was still new and under warranty so I just let Ruger do it on their dime and shipping. Ruger sure is one great company......
