When I was making my reservations for our trip, I contacted the Big Bend Motor Inn in Study Butte. Couldn't get in the day I wanted to, as repairs were being made.

Seems there had been a movie filmed i that part of the country, one starring Willie Nelson, a country/western singer. They had wrapped up filming and the crew had left, but doors and locks had to be repaired. Seems many doors were damaged after filming had been done for the day. Seems they favored the "John Wayne entrance method."

A couple years ago he announced that he was going to quit smoking dope, because it damaged his lungs.

He gets high by eating marijuana, now. A man in his 80s. Seems like he should have grown up about, say, 60 years ago.
