no, i m not new to cc. and im a bigger guy can have no trouble carrying lrg framed guns. i carried a 95dc for two years cc with no real issues.

i did not know however ruger was coming out with a compact variant of the american ..
and i have not handled one yet either.. just seen reviews ..

I sure that Ruger will introduce a compact model of the American Pistol at some point in the future, but none have been announced or shown. My guess is they will introduce versions of the full size with external safety, etc before the compacts....

Just a guess, though.

id like them too. i liked the P series pistols, but i dont care for the sr series..
