American rimfire with extras

I bought a RAR compact in .22 this last winter. I shot it quite a bit over the winter and decided I needed one if full size for myself. I bought one recently and threaded the barrel first for my can. I mounted a Nikon rimfire scope and went to the range. Very happy with first results of tight groups just shooting factory fodder from Federal and Aguila. Gun averaged less than 1/2'' groups at 50 yards. Shot some subsonic ammo , groups opened up some,still need to play with some of those rounds. I am a big 77/22 fan, this gun isn't a 77/22 but it does shoot very well. I also used my magbumpers from www.magbumper.com . They work as well on it as they do on my 10-22. I hope ruger doesn't make this gun in stainless like I have heard,will have to get one of those as well.

I am a big 77/22 fan, this gun isn't a 77/22 but it does shoot very well.

From most reports I have read, the RAR outshoots the 77/22. I've had one for a few weeks now and have not had the opportunity to shoot it.
