I was perusing my Cabelas catalog and found some ammo by Herter's.
It is aluminum cased with a nylon coated jacket.
It comes in 9mm, .40 and .45 calibers.
They seem to be less expensive than conventional ammo.
I realize of course they are not reloadable.
This is a curiosity question, I don't plan on dashing out and buying 12 boxes as yet.
Has anyone fired any of them? How did they function?
Do they seem to shoot cleaner or is there different kind of residue that you have to deal with?
The nylon jacket is something that made my little brain go.........."WHAT"???........and I am curious as to how they perform.
Thanks for any info you can give me.
