Made from curly maple, or tiger stripped as some call it, I bought these years ago and tried them on a few Smith's, but they just don't fit my hand particularly well as I've always preferred the smaller Magna style grips anyway. I had originally planned to do some whittling to reshape, and then put some stain on them, but then Ahrends went out of business...And suddenly, their grips became highly sought after. So, I thought better of doing so.
