I've worn glasses since I was 3 years old. It is a dream that someday I will get to wear a pair of "real" sunglasses........ :?

I had a pair when I was a teenager. My Great Uncle, a retired Army Captain bought them for me on a military base. Great glasses.

According to an inflation calculator that's almost $240 in today's money.
Usually any sunglasses that cost that much get lost for some reason.

That dream came true for me when I had cataract surgery on both eyes. First thing I bought was "real" sunglasses, not clip-on monstrosities. I'll be checking out the sunglasses at yard sales this summer, might find a nice pair of those aviator glasses. :D

The STAUER Company has sunglasses called EAGLE EYES [ invented by Uncle Sam if I remember right..] that are outstanding. They are of the aviator style.
And so it goes...
