Any thoughts as to value...looks good but the barrel has some blue thinning. It's unconverted and would be what I'd call a shooter.

Last one I bought was last Spring. Condition sounds similar with both cylinders and I paid $275. Most shooters have pretty thin bluing left on the bbls since folks have a tendancy to carry them stuck in their belts.

This gun has a single cylinder. It says. 22 long on the frame. Wouuld this be a convertable? The s/n indicates 1969 or 1970 manuf. (20-715xx)

Serial # could be either covertible or LR only. Give Ruger a call and they will be able to tell you if it is a RSS9X or RSS9W.

With this serial number and barrel length it would be a convertible. But give Ruger a call anyway, as you may have the only 9 1/2 in. barrel Old Model that was made after 1963, that's not a convertible!!!

I agree with the $275 for that year gun in that condition. Adjustable sights or not??
You'll want to pick up a mag cyl to really enjoy it's full potential.

I'd go to $350 in that condition if it were pre '62 w/XR3 grip.
