For those of you in the PNW and anyone else who might want a rust free 86 CJ, here is a good one.
This is a 1986 Jeep CJ7 with 95000 original miles. It has been in a dry climate it’s entire life. It has a 4.2 liter six with a T176 4 speed, Dana 300 transfer case, AMC 20 rear, Dana 30 front and factory heavy duty suspension. It is a factory original soft top Jeep and comes with factory chrome “wagon wheels.” It comes with a Warn 8274 winch. In the last 1 ½ years the following have been replaced or rebuilt.
1. OHTSU 31-10.50X15 All Terrain tires
2. New Bestop top including two piece doors and all hardware
3. Bikini top
4. New clutch, throw out bearing, and pressure plate
5. MC 2100 carb
6. Complete tune up including dist. cap, rotor, plugs, and plug wires
7. Rear brakes, fronts were fresh
8. Add-a-leaf to level the front following winch install
9. New heavy duty drag link
10. New heavy duty tie rod
11. New rod ends
12. Changed all drive train fluids
13. Bestop rear seat
14. 40 mm ammo can “console” modified to allow it to be locked
15. New windshield
This Jeep starts, runs, and drives like a new CJ. It is a very dependable Jeep.
Another little life issue curve ball is causing me to reduce the price on this to $5500 for board members.
