I'll be casting these over the next few days from the MiHec 45-270-SAA mould. These bullets will weigh between 285 & 290 grains depending on mix. BHN should be 12-13. You can have 300 sized .452 or .453 & lubed with LBT Blue for 15 cents each. As an example 300 shipped insured in a small flat rate box will be 52.75. Or if you would like them naked to size & lube yourself, 12 cents. I'll be happy to quote any amounts you like.

How does these compare in length to your regular 270 gr Keith bullet? Are they shorter? I'm trying to see if they will fit in a FA 97 crimped in the crimp groove. Your "regular" Keith bullet is just a tad too long.

The old bullet [275 gr.] had a crimp to meplat measurement of .350. Our standard 265 grain Keith is .370. The 45-290 is between .370-.375 best I can see.

I am using the same MiHec mold dropping my mix at +/- 280gr. With a heavy crimp in the crimp groove I have not experienced any problem with them in my FA97. Very accurate.

Matt, I shoot the 270 SSA in my FA97 by seating deeper and crimping over the front driving band. Works great and is very accurate. Of course you need to reduce the charge for the deeper seating of the bullet.
