I moved to Idaho 6 years ago and found this in a box recently. It hasn't been used for quite some time. It's a Minolta Maxxum 3000i and comes with a Minolta lens that is AF 35-105. Looking to sell it if any one is interested in it. Looking for $100 plus shipping. I'm not much of a photographer and can't really tell you much about it, it does have the flash on the camera. Please pm me if you can tell me anything. I don't even know if people still use film. I used a different camera when I went to So. Africa, so not a lot of information.

Actually reflex cameras that use ASA film are old, old technology. I could be interested. Send some photos. I will contact you by PM.

I believe the 3000i was one of the first generation auto focus Minolta camera. The top dog of the first generation was the seven or eight thousand. I I can't remember it was that pro model and very expensive I wasn't been out there and I had a bunch. Still do. Be careful. Old Minolta cameras the Plastics around the grip rot and just go bad and fall apart as they get older. I had many generations still have all of my lenses last generation I bought was it 600 s i pro model. That body was $800 in 1998 and I have the power vertical grip for it which was another $400 in change. Mirror lenses over $800 alone. So the later ones that are still usable we're not cheap with the time they're worth what people are willing to pay some people absolutely love film they're Rota focusene and capabilities are fantastic! I have a much newer 5 x i Minolta body where the grip rod and want the heck just falling apart. Just holding on to it for parts! Not trying to take down the price of the 3000i at all with Proper Storage maybe the Plastics are good on the camera he is a factor with the lenses as far as a apertures not working on any lenses. So that's another factor to look out for or check out before you sell or buy. You can wear outfit as Minolta sold it at the time and I don't remember what year I believe it was in the 80s for the 3000i was a little over $300 which included one lens. That's just a little info hopefully we'll help all parties. I would suggest drop a roll of film in the camera drop a battery in the camera dropped the lens on the camera go out on a nice day and shoot a roll of film send it to the prospective buyer let him process it and decide for himself if the transaction should continue. That seemed to work for me over the years with my camera equipment! Funny still into Minolta even though they went out which they are Konica Minolta when I got into him in digital format I have the 5D that my wife bought me early 2000 yes old technology still but much more technical then film cameras. But I'm old school I learned on film digital settings aperture depth of field do not equal the same with non digital film cameras so which kind of a different Beast sorry this is long and sorry if it's it works like everything is misspelled or ridiculous I'm using voice to text and too damn lazy to correct everything! Best of luck to all concerned!
