29 Wheelgunner
Single-Sixer
On October 29th last year, I celebrated 25 years on the job.
Along with a fantastic dinner for my wife and I at Ray's On The River in Atlanta, I was given a $500 American Express gift card.
It started a minor dilemma for me. My wife insisted that I use the card for something that I wanted. A new watch, put the money toward a new flat screen TV, a new gun? What was I to do? Not wanting to rush this, the card went into the safe and I thought about it.
Since Ruger had eliminated the CCH finish on the Vaquero, I was not interested in a blued model. So I did not even look at them.
A trip to Adventure Outdoors and a pass by the Ruger case changed my mind.
It called out to me!
