#1A in .303 now on the website

Took a bit but I see the #1A in .303 Brit is now listed on the Ruger site under "new models". I was hot for one at first but after learning early on in the whole push for these, they'd be a cataloged model, I backed off a bit. Not a do or die thing but I'll probably see what a couple calls to distributors can get me for a price soon.

Might be another worthwhile to tuck away.

I remember somebody trying to figure out the frame of the .44 Specials from the weights listed on Ruger's website, and just would not believe me that Ruger's listed weights are usually not right and do change over time.

I never put any focus on the weight anyways. If all #127 of me can easily carry a scoped #1V all day afield, no reason why any other rifle will burden me down. Need to cut an ounce or two in gun weight to make it carry-able...maybe consider an exercise regime too.
