This first year Super Bearcat is of the first style with the gold trigger guard and barrel rollmark without the .22 LR caliber designation. Pretty nice used condition, in the 96-97% range with some light wear and a few dings on the grips. This little revolver has not been converted to the transfer bar safety. The "Super" was added to the name to distinguish the steel frame guns from the earlier alloy frame Bearcats, and the serial number prefix was simultaneously bumped from 90 to 91. In 1972, the brass-colored trigger guard was changed to blue steel. Super Bearcats were the last old model single action revolvers made, all the way out into 1974, a year after the other SAs were changed to the New Model design.

$520 SPF shipped FFL to FFL

Looking for the rewind button to click as I was busy and away from my phone yesterday. 1971 is my birth year, sorry I missed this. Congratulations
