SOLD!

For sale is an early (four digit serial) Flat Top revolver, one of Ruger's first and original .44 Magnums. It's so nice - but not too nice to shoot and enjoy. It is a "shoot-able collectable." Less than 30,000 of these Flat Top .44s were made from December of 1956 until 1962 when the Super Blackhawk was introduced which replaced it.

This handsome .44 Magnum Flat Top was made in 1957 and purchased in October of that same year according to the ORIGINAL SALES RECEIPT and OWNERS INSTRUCTION MANUAL which is included. Additionally included is the RECEIPT and BOX from Ruger when the revolver was returned to the factory in 1968 for the transfer bar safety conversion Also included is the ORIGINAL REVOLVER CONVERSION INSTRUCTION MANUAL. The lockwork has been RESTORED to the original condition but all the conversion parts are included. The action has been nicely TUNED and the trigger breaks at a crisp 3 pounds.

Additionally, there is the correct Hunter holster (1100-46) for the 6 1/2" barreled .44 Flat Top.

The gun hasn't been fired much and shows holster wear mostly, although there is a blemish in the blue just above the front of the ejector rod housing. It appears to be a blood stain.

Price: $650 - Photos available to serious parties.
