I picked this bad boy up more than a few years ago with the idea I would get a 22 mag cylinder fitted to it and use it with birdshot for a grouse gun but alas it has just sat in my safe and is still a 22lr only. The barrel measures 11.25 inches and most likely originally came off a 10/22. The sights on the receiver were filed down and smoothed out and a larger front sight installed as noted in the pictures below. Original lock work is still present as well as the XR3 grip frame. The grips are obviously not original. Serial number is 5153X. Condition is as noted in pictures with usual wear associated with an almost 60 year old gun. I live near Columbus Ohio and travel to the Cincinnati and Canton area regularly if someone nearby would like to avoid shipping fees. Asking price is $475 plus shipping.
