This is from an interesting russian site my brother visits. My first impression was that it fired 3 rounds at a time, six times. However, there is something that might be a selector behind the barrel latch. Maybe .32 caliber. For the size and weight, a six-shot .44 would be more useful, unless you're a bicyclist fighting off a pack of miniature poodles.

I saw many similar guns in the William I. Koch 'Real West' museum. He has quite a collection of old Colts, Smith & Wessons and very unusual guns. I believe that gun was in the collection and it was explaned that it could fire 1, 2 or 3 shots at the time depending on the setting. Here is some history on the 18 round, triple barrel, revolver.
