I replace the fire control group with last night with the Power Custom adjustable hammer and sear kit. I am impressed with the fit and finnish of their product, ease of instructions and trigger feel.

The new FCG works quite well for the little amount of effort it took to install. I am going to readjust the pretravel, it’s a bit too sensitive for my calloused fingers.
I had a conversation with a gentleman at our LGS about what I’ve done to this 10/22 and it struck me there are some folks out there that are uncomfortable with just breaking down a firearm.
I say the kit is easy to install and it will be for someone that is mechanically inclined. If you’re not comfortable with working on a trigger take it to your local gunsmith, it should take them under an hour to fit this to your gun.

Glad you like the PC hammer and sear parts. I really like them since I put them in mine. Only issues I had with it was it felt a little gritty to me at first. So I pulled them back out and did a little light polishing, very smooth now. Also for some reason the hammer would always jam on me with the PC hammer spring. It would only work right with the factory spring. Others havent had the same issue with the spring. The factory spring works fine for me though so no big deal.
Did you drill a hole in your trigger for sear adjustment? Makes it much easier to fine tune and isnt difficult to do. I also drilled and tapped a hole for an over travel stop. Now the trigger is perfect as far as my tastes go.

I was pretty nervous the first time I tore my trigger group down. But I just watched a youtube video on how to do it then set my laptop up where I was working and followed along step by step. Now I could probably do it in the dark lol.

I think maybe the spring diameter was a tiny bit large. I'm not sure though since I didnt measure it against the factory one. All I know is it would jam in the cocked position with the PC spring but works fine with the stock spring. I took it apart and swapped them several times to try and figure it out but never could. It was consistent though.

I got the PC drop-in kit for Christmas and just installed it on my 80's vintage 10/22. It's not adjustable, but I can feel the difference just dry-firing it a few times. Can't wait to actually shoot it!
