#1 with a 4 digit serial #. No prefix

This past weekend I attended a gun show in Nampa, Idaho. One vendor had a non prefix 4 digit serial number .243. B model.
When did Douglas stop making barrels for these?
If you happened to have been there, did you see the gun or know the vendors phone #? I am interested in the gun.

The serial number I have heard is everything before 130-05000. So any non prefix is a Douglas Permian barrel.

Yes, he's still kicking. I talked to him last week. He's living off the grid north of Ola. He's having to redo his whole computer system to try to get back on line.
