Local shop has 4 digit 7 mag for sale , been used so it has dings , scratches and some blue loss on the end of the barrel. Wood has some nice grain to it. Were many made in 7 mag and whats it worth?

For a 4 digit I'd check here http://www.classicsportingarms.com/ruger-collecting/ruger-no-1-rarity-tables/ If it's got the vertical split rings it'll be worth quite a bit more.

A used one around here would be around $750. All depends on how "used" it was and if there was anything "special" about it...
