#1 non-prefix Model BB (S26M) .308

Today, I bit the bullet and picked up a non-prefix #1. Chambered in .308, it has a medium weight 26" barrel w/beavertail forend. Serial number is 693. The bonus here is that it came with vertical split rings and sling swivels. No box. I would rate it at 95% with some minor surface imperfections on the barrel in a few spots, still, a nice rare rifle. 201 made according to Chad's reference guide.... I got a good deal when I ponied up and bought a shooter grade 400- prefix Red Label in 20g. w/full and modified fixed chokes that he was also selling. A few pics.... :wink:

Dave, Nice, You are going to really love that .308 . Some 15 years ago at the Chehalis gun show I bought the very same rifle, Serial number 691. Wonder where 692 lives ?
