    Thank you for your input. I put the trigger under a 'good' light and noticed that a pivot pin was not exactly centered and was protruding (almost not visible to naked eye), so I centered it and the trigger group now is in the pistol. Amazing the tolerances that keep things from happening!

    Just cleaned revolver and when I try to install trigger group something keeps it from snapping up. Pawl and transfer bar are in correct places, but just can't seem to get it to snap up.
