    The bolt carrier is what I refer to the mechanism that ejects and loads the cartridges. The part you pull back on to unload/load. I may be using the wrong terminology for a pistol as the "bolt carrier" is what is often used in rifles (like the AR-15). Also called a BCG or Bolt Carrier Group.
