    Gunsite Scout opinions

I hear you. Funny how a lot of guys in the U.S. are asking for the export version and some guys here want yours :D I can't believe Ruger hasn't offered both to you guys. There's just no reason why not. In our case, the evil flash hider is why we can't get your model. Speaking for myself, I...

Ruger No.1 Aperature sight options? Non NECG!

Wow, wish I could 'cobble' as well as you do :) That's a very nice bit of work. You could probably sell those as fast as you could make them. I too like receiver sights and frankly am disgusted with the scope only/no sights approach on rifles that are the norm of today. I've used the NECG on...

    Older M77 question

In the early '80's I believe, I purchased a new M77ST Round Top. At that time it was a regular model offered in addition to the models that had Rugers own ring system, the same as all Ruger 77's have today. My rifle came drilled and tapped for the bases of your choice and also has sights...

.22 rimfire stored in very cold conditions

It'll be fine. I've stored ammo for years in those temps, no problems whatsoever.

Brownells has them as well, but are showing only 3's & 5's in stock right now http://www.brownells.com/magazines/rifle-magazines/magazines/magazine-scout-rifle-10-round-prod45269.aspx

    Receiver sights

Yes, the 10 round mag is what it comes with. Mag capacity is unlimited with a bolt gun. Centerfire semi-auto rifles have mags that are limited to 5rds. Pistol mags are limited to 10 rds. .22 rimfire is unlimited regardless of action type.

    Receiver sights

Yes, they do make one specifically for the Ruger 77. The Williams model number is FP-RU-77 Midway shows one but it's wrong. The proper one mounts on the right hand side of the receiver, not the left as shown here http://media.midwayusa.com/productimages/880x660/primary/719/719003.jpg

    Receiver sights

Receiver sights-I love 'em I've got receiver sights on all my Rugers except on my .22 The top rifle is a MKII .30-06, CRF with factory original sights and is drilled and tapped for a Williams Foolproof receiver sight like the one on the rifle pictured below it. I had it removed at the time this...
