Some years back, automated traffic-camera ticketsystems were banned in utah because in salt lake city, the mayor or governor, i forget which, was mailed a ticket for a violation the camera caught.
So, he shut the system down and booted them out.
The ticket reported him as driver, his vehicle and license plate, time and location, but the picture was his daughter, in a whole 'nother car, iirc on a day she wasent even in the state. Memory says neither mayor nor governor can drive their own car, they must be driven by a gummint driver in a fleet car, city or state, whichever.
Subsequent administrations have tried to reintraduce them, saying the problems have been fixed, but i dont know if they ever got them again, i dont live there, i only drive thru it and listen to the radio, which i have been able to dx as far out as sanfrancisco and grand rapids.
As for the video, whatever happenned to the right to face your accuser in a court of law?
