Good evening,
To celebrate 10/22 I acquired a KRH-45 SS Redhawk in 45 Colt. Fired little if at all. After market grips I imagine as there are standard RH grips in the box. I’m happy to add this one to my accumulation of RedHawks. Just need a 41 now to put my mind to rest!

well done you dont see the 45 RedHawks very often. I was lucky enough to get one when they were still available back in the day that is one gun that will not leave my collection.

At least it is the right caliber :) :D . Enjoy! Only RH I have was gifted by my dad, his old 6 shot .357 RH. Doesn't get out much as it probably should. I traded off a .44 Mag SRH and some cash for a new in box .45 Colt original Vaquero which worked out for me back when... No regrets.

The gun is originally a stainless steel 45 Colt Redhawk that had the cylinder replaced with a 454 Casull Super Redhawk cylinder, the frame Ceracoated, rear sights are Bowen Rough Country Rear Sights, and the grips are Eagle Target Grips which may not be made anymore. I did the work myself a couple of decades ago. Great woods guns for hunting deer and pig. Handles hot 45 Colt loads with ease. Lately I've been using a 270 SWC at 1050 fps. Very accurate load that is easy on the body and gun.

I have 2, a 5 1/2" 44mag Redhawk and a 7 1/2" super Redhawk 44 mag that I'm thinking of selling.

Well, the gun is certainly stainless steel. Ruger only made the Redhawk 45 Colt in stainless. I've never seen a blue model Redhawk 45 Colt. Below is an old photo I found from a long while ago. Same handgun before I got it Ceracoated. I got in Ceracoated because I was hunting with a S&W Highway Patrolman and really liked the way that S&W matt bluing looked and cut down on the reflectiveness. Ceracoating was the perfect solution.

Anyway, it's not for sale. My son and his two boys will really appreciate the handgun when I pass. Thanks though.
