B it looks like the gold is a filler and part of the grip and not the frame. Is that your work or did you have a maker do that for you. Very interesting look, I like it.

Did you trim/replace the 5 1/2 inch barrel for a 4 5/8 inch one? It seems to look that way in one of finished photos.
I have a bunch of Vaqueros/New Vaqueros but only one Birdshead grip. I may 'need' a few more.
