    MKII slide stop

+1 on previous comments. Will add to watch grips also. A few decades ago I put Pacs on my mk ll. They rubbed against the stop. Had to remove material from the grip and to this day I have to be careful about overtightening the adjacent grip screw...

lcp ll mag for gen 1

Thanks, Charles. I had just gotten antsy as I had to travel. Just shot. 80 rounds later, no worries.

lcp ll mag for gen 1

Ok. Just read a review that sed original lcp mags will not werk in lcp ll guns. Lcp ll mags will werk in orig lcp guns but won't lock slide back after last shot. Can anyone confirm before I insert and scratch this mag, making it unreturnable?

lcp ll mag for gen 1

Not sure if phone werked as I originally tried to post. Can't find orig post. Sorry if this a dup.... Had been carrying a small pocket knife in pocket with spare mag. DON'T! Evidently I leaned on something that caved in side of now nonfunctional mag. Made a quick lgs buy of a 6 rnd mag. Got...

    1022 kidd trigger reset probs

Does a kidd trigger have a heavier hammer spring? Inherited 1022 w volq 9twist, kidd trigger, bolt, guiderod, handle. All recoil springs it's ok w Ag60sss (til ftfeed at 50 or so rds). Shoots 40gr std and hv ok w -10 spring, but fails to reset and occasionally doubles w standard and +10. Have had...

    Whenever I clean my 10/22...

Personal problem: I cannot sleep at night if I have a dirty gun. I found cleaning 10/22s inconvenient compared to cleaning bolt guns. Then I got an AR...... Aerosols or not!

    Enjoying my LCP

Yes, my gen1 trigger is heavy and long. But smooth, smooth, smooth! As someone said above, just go ahead and pull the dang thing! If I feed too much trigger finger to it, finger drags the trigger guard with disastrous results (not as badly as with G***ks). Fingertip only for me. Also had to get...

    LCP MAG SET PROBLEMS

My gen 1 with almost 2000 rounds thru it: noticed when unloading that mag won't drop due to top round sliding forward in mag and hanging on feed ramp. Caught myself slapping pistol to slide round back in mag for clearance. Duh! Point gun in safe direction. Catch ejected round as slide is locked...

LCP Custom - Front Pocket Holster?

Unshielded trigger in pocket makes my balls draw up.

    Is your LCP Chambered?

Always chambered. Always in holster that covers trigger. Pocket contains nothing but holstered pistol. Never try to put gun in into holster while holster is in pocket.

mini 14 ranch rear and 1022

Just a final word: Added a Marble 450 mr front sight to get desired poi with insert in middle of adjustment range. Turned a 7 dollar project into a 30 dollar project and fitting the sight involved some work. Still, I like it!

    First 10/22 build or purchase

+1 on ammo comment above. I have 2 factory barrelled (but otherwise modified) 1022s that shoot 2 1/2-3 inch groups at 50yds with literally a dozen different kinds of ammo, but each will average 3/4 or less with the ONE specific kind. Yep, different favorite for each rifle. More expensive ammo...

    LCP hard to movie slide.

Ya beat me to suggesting a study of slide manipulation technique!!! The hand over the slide method in the video is one method that certainly works, but WATCH THE MUZZLE! I have noticed too many people at the local public range who seem to have a tendency to point the gun across their body...

    LCP hard to movie slide.

Most folks clean a new pistol before they shoot it. Field strip it per manual. Look for any burrs or dings. Wipe everything metal down with lightly oiled cloth. Some folks (like me) lightly grease rails. Lightly is key here and don't get too hung up on what kind of lubricants. Others shoot em...

Ruger LCP - 1st CC Handgun...

Some say lcp gut gun. Don't worry bout sights. That out of the way... Custom sights much better, but methinks snaggy for pocket carry. Regular sights less snaggy, but if you really want them useful, drill a dimple and paint w white or flo yellow. Easy to do. Be sure to get pocket holster...
