    Single seven 327 federal magnum

I am shooting 85gr and 100gr. Hornady XTPs as well as 115gr. 32-20 cast bullets using Power Pistol. I have tried loads in my S&W ported J-frame, a carry gun in 632-Pro, a custom Bowens S&W Model 16-4, and in my Single-Seven. The J-frames are a handful, but the Single Seven and the Model 16 S&W...

    Single Seven

There is some mention of "fire-lapping" here. Usually, that is done in precision rifles and is a technique of fireing successively diminishing abrasive projectiles through a bore. On a handgun, I use a technique that is similar, but done on the shop table. It was described to me by Dan...

    Single Seven

Just received my Single-Seven 4.6", and working up loads. Have a modified Model 16-4 S&W 4" , rechambered by Bowens, to which I am comparing for accuracy with handloads. All suggestions are welcome…but accuracy is my standard..since velocities are useless if I do not hit at my POA. For now...

Price? LGS has a Ruger Single-six in .32+ African Magnaports

Hondo, Called the dealer again….he is really knowledgeable and in business for 50 years. He remembers when the gun was bought. He told me today, the gunsmith did a trigger job, and fitted the grips that the customer bought from Ruger…Sambar Stag. Not a Bisley, but fully adjustable rear sights...

Price? LGS has a Ruger Single-six in .32+ African Magnaports

I did not photograph the gun, but the gun has Ruger Sambar Stags with Ruger medallions and they are fitted perfectly. In the guns from Magnaport, is a "Tomahawk"..hard chromed Super Blackhawk with the same stag grips. The collector that sold the guns to the LGS was a big Ruger Collector...

Price? LGS has a Ruger Single-six in .32+ African Magnaports

I hear you guys….totally! I thought the price was too high, especially when the Single-Seven in .327 Federal is less money….

Price? LGS has a Ruger Single-six in .32+ African Magnaports

The LGS said the owner bought the gun new and the grips were definitely a factory option. That is what I was told, and this is a VERY reputable store.

Price? LGS has a Ruger Single-six in .32+ African Magnaports

I need a fair price check…. My LGS has a Single-Six in .32 H&R Mag with original Ruger Stag stocks. Asking $600. I thought it might be a tad high. No box and a slight scratch on the cylinder. However, they also have a complete set of Magnaport Rugers (serial#10) in the African Game...

    Single Seven update

I am a bit "bummed". I want to purchase a Single Seven, but I live in MD, and no dealer has sent the "Roster Board" a sample to allow it to be approved for sale in the State. Crazy, a Single Six in .32H&R is fine, but every design and caliber change requires approval. Thus….I cannot buy one...

    Single Seven update

Remember, the .32 Long and .32 Mag loads have much lower velocity than the .327. That velocity drop will account for the higher hits. True with all calibers. If you sight for .357 Mag or .44 Mag…your .38Spl and .44Spl loads will hit substantially higher. Terry

    Single Seven update

I do not have my Single Seven, although one is on order for me. However, I have a S&W 16-4, rechambered by Bowens, in .327 and a Model 632 in .327. I have noticed the same thing in terms of point of impact. Using factory Federal loads, I found the .32H&R loads shoot high right, while the .327s...
