Nice pair of Nickle Ruger Vaqueros with 4 3/4" barrels both in 38 Special/357 Mag. They both are in excellent condition with faux ivory checkered grips. They are NOT consecutive serial numbers. Both were made/shipped in 1999 one is serial # 56-99*** and the other 57-02***. My friend shot them in...
Thanks, good information to keep on hand. I can easily understand why Douglas with its small shop could not keep up with demand. Douglas used to also make a good number of Muzzleloading Barrels and finally dropped the line to devote the time to centerfire barrels.

I have no problem shooting my SBH with full mag loads, kind of rolls in my hand but shooting an S&W 357 with full mag loads really is uncomfortable after a few rounds.
Easy for me, it would be my old model super Blackhawk in 44 Mag. I have owned this revolver since I bought it used in South Boston VA circa 1972. I used to shoot it a lot but have not fired it it years. I think I will take it up to the farm and make sure the sights are still on target. I used to...
Some may have trouble believing it, I know I did, but I used to shoot bench rest rifles back in the late '70s, and 80s. I once took my 36-power Leopold scope off my bench rest rifle to see just how accurate that 220 Swift was. Using sandbag rest at 100 yards with my best load and benchrest...
I have an early Ruger Model 77 that has the earl "flat dogleg" bolt. It is chambered in 220 Swift and it is extremely accurate. I bought it used at a Richmond VA gun show the day we brought my new baby daughter home from the hospital in Oct 1974. Not sure how old it was but the private seller...
My friend has one of the VA State Police 1 of 850 Commemorative sets, the letter that came with it says it was engraved by Ken Hurst's company and it has the the signed name of the engraver. This one looks to be Jon R----- and we can not figure out the rest of the signature. Any chance any of...
I thought I would offer these here and give members a chance at them before I list them on GunBroker.com.
Here is a very unique and special order that took 2 years to fill. 2 brand new Ruger Bisley (RBNV-35) .357 case color blue, consecutive serial numbers with factory boxes and paperwork. They...
I have a like new Ruger LC9 NON-Striker model that I want to sell. I have the original box/paperwork even the un-used lock that came with it. It has been fired less than 25 times. I purchased a new Ruger LC9s and to be honest if I had it to do over I would have just stayed with the older LC9...
Hopefully someone can answer this question for me. I currently own one of the original LC9's and I just purchased a new LC9s in order to have the better trigger pull of the LC9S. However I do like having the loaded round indicator that is one the original LC9 but is no longer on the new LC9s...
