I’ve hunted for many years with a scoped Super Redhawk. Love shooting that gun! My favorite thumper for sure. My tastes for scoped handguns have drifted back to T/C Contenders. When hunting is areas where a scope is not quite appropriate, I switch to an iron sighted Super Blackhawk.

I've had my 9.5" SRH for 20+ years now. I own a lot of handguns, but th SRH is my favorite gun, by far. I'm a handgun hunter and have taken several deer with this gun. Last year I got back into the T/C Contender game and thoroughly enjoy them, but nothing compares to shooting that big .44...

I've been shooting 300's with 20.0 grains of H110 out of my SRH for many years. No signs of over pressure. My SRH wears a scope and a 5-shot group at 100 yards will easily fall into a 3" group, often better if I can really do my part.

I've had a Bushnell 2-6x Trophy Scope on my SRH for about 20 years. Never an issue. Have it sighted in to be dead on at 100 yards.

I have big hands too and put a set of Hogue Tamer Grips on my SRH. Seems to fit me just fine.

Lead Away Cloth. In over 20+ years of use on my SRH, I have not noticed any metal being removed. I use it every time I clean my SRH. No scrubbing. A few wipes and good as new. Before After

I've got the Hogue tamer grips on my .44mag SRH and love them. I have large hands (wear XL gloves) and shoot heavy 240 or 300 grain loads without any issues.

Hornady 165gr SP and H414 shot amazing out of my Swiss K31.

I've been using the Uncle Mike's Bandoleer nylon holster for many years.

Never had a problem with that scope. I have hunted with it in all kinds of weather, cold, rain, snow, sleet, etc. In fact, if the weather is really lousy, I will almost always grab my SRH to hunt with. I have some flip open caps for the scope when hunting in the rain.

I've had that Bushnell on my SRH for lots of years. Heavy loads of 240 and 300 grain bullets. Solid as a rock.

I like the higher magnification for at the range, but use the low power for hunting. When I took the doe, the scope was set at 3x.
