    Laser for SR9c

I have had the CT laser on my SR9c for several weeks now. I like it, but I have to be honest and say that, unlike the two other CT grip-style lasers I have, the dot on this one moves around a bit. I can trust it out to 10 yards to put a bullet into a 12" the kill zone every time, but it starts...

XS Sights Big Dot and the Ruger SR9C?

I use the XS standard dot sights on my Glock for IDPA. As soon as XS makes a standard dot, rather than a Big dot, for the SR9c I'm going to switch over. (XS tells me they have it in the works.) And, before you ask, I like the big dot version too, but just prefer the size of the standard dot. I...

    CCI SP Primers- Bad Batch?

You all were on to something about the primers not being seated enough. I loaded more ammo, some with a very slight roll crimp and the rest with a taper crimp, making sure to seat the primers solidly and they all went bang. Thanks for the help everyone!

    CCI SP Primers- Bad Batch?

I use a Hornady LNL press...so the primers are put in on the downward stroke. I know this last time I tried to load quickly....and that I didn't press very hard when I hit bottom on the press. So, my thought is you guys are correct about the primers not sitting deep enough. Again, thanks...

    CCI SP Primers- Bad Batch?

I have factory springs in the gun. The only thing different I've done is add a Ghost Tactical connector. My Hornady bullet seating die uses a roll crimp, but I thought I wasn't using a crimp...or if I was that it was a very slight one. So...two thoughts: 1) I'll make sure I positively seat...

    CCI SP Primers- Bad Batch?

I went out with about 250 rounds of reloaded 9mm and 50 rounds of new factory ammo for my new Ruger SR9c the other day. The Ruger went through the factory stuff no problem but I had about 12 bad reloads that seemed to all be primer related. About half of these rounds didn't fire the first time...

    SR-22 & Fake Suppressor

Yea, a real one would be better, but I didn't want to spend the bucks on one (plus the stamp). It would cost about as much as the rifle itself.

    P95 light primer strikes

It's the stock spring. Do you think that I should try putting some lube into the firing pin channel. It's dry as a bone now. Some contend it should be free of lube to avoid attracting gunk, yet others swear that they have better hits with a little bit of oil. :?

    P95 light primer strikes

Sorry! Should have included this.... both new and reloaded ammo. Other pistols seem to be able to fire the ammo with no problem.

    P95 light primer strikes

What are the possible causes of this other than gunk in the firing pin channel?

Blazer Brass .45ACP primer pocket size?

I was reloading tonight and ended up with some Blazer .45ACP brass that I'd picked out of a bin at a public range.. I found I could not get my progressive loader to seat a primer in the brass. When I measured the primer pocket on the Blazer brass and found it was significantly smaller. What's up...
