Ruger LCP magazines - Italy vs. US

The one from Italy came with the gun. The Italian ones have a better reputation for reliability.

2nd LCP Magazine needed.... but which one?

You can get the Mag Guts conversion kit and convert all your six round magazines into seven rounds. It doesn't change the size or shape of the magazine nor does it affect reliability. Cost is between $20 and $25, I think.

    LCP Cleaning Advice?

Why not clean it? Once you know how to disassemble it (You Tube video), it's pretty straight forward.

    Aftermarket LC 9 trigger kit

Removing the magazine safety shortens the trigger pull a little. It goes from intolerably long to a safe, double action pull. And it's free.

Does anyone still carry an original LC9

I carry an original LC9. Quite awhile ago, I removed the magazine safety (which I hate anyway). The removal shortened the trigger pull; it turned (in my opinion) an excessively long pull into a nice, safe double action pull.

    LCP wow

Better trigger; better sights; very reliable. A great EDC gun.

    New 45

I had a S&W M&P 45C, and I was very happy when I got rid of it. I never liked that gun; the trigger (I thought) was bad out of the box, and even after some work, it was still not very good. If I had to describe that gun in one word, I'd call it "klunky". It also didn't help my opinion that the...

    LCP slide replacement

I can't answer your main question, but the second generation of LCP's has more visible sights and a better trigger.

My first LC9 review (in comparison to LCR)

My LC9 has no laser so I carry it comfortably in a Nemesis pocket holster. I know a lot of people will go bonkers about this, but removing the magazine safety makes a perceptible difference in the length of the trigger pull. It's still long enough that I consider it a safety feature, but it's...

    LCP Enhanced Model

It shoots great. Ruger may call them "enhancements", and I guess they are, but the shorter trigger pull and a front sight you can see make a big difference. I have both a first generation LCP and the newer version. I like the earlier one, but I love the newer one. Ruger never advertised any of...

New 1911 and Ruger Customer Service

My nephew just got a new 1911 and really likes the gun (so do I). It came with 2 7 rd magazines, but the pamphlet in the box as well as the parts diagram indicates it should have one 7 rd mag and one 8 rd mag. He called Ruger hoping for an easy swap, but was told the material in the box was...
