I got a ruger tactical op-1 bipod for my ruger american and I'm the swivel stud adapter is mis-aligning with the swivel stud. Can the swivel be adjusted by turning it? is it threaded?

I filled the mag and put it in the rifle to get a little extra compression. When I did the plastic release tab broke off the mag. I heard others saying over a million RAR's have been sold. Any after market parts available for these rifles yet? Like mags.

I was thinking about trying that. I sent an email to Ruger. See what happens.

Sorry, it's an American Standard 308. I wouldn't say the bullet is pointing up. It almost seems as though the bullet "jumps" out of the mag when I feed it and yeah, maybe it's hitting the upper chamber area. When I load just 3 rounds it feeds correctly every time so far, no jams.

Just bought it. It's my first rifle. Seems like the first round out of the mag jams quite often. Anyone have this happen? suggestions? Thanks
