Rugers are semi finished guns.

I'm very happy with my old style square grips I shaped to round grip. They are fatter and give me a better grip. Real wood looks better imo. Buy them used and shape go ur liking.

Read John Linbough articles in Custom Sixgun website. He tested them to the max. Very interesting.

I have just bought one that is in new condition. It came with the same black plastic stock that the tactical models have today. Manufactured 1999-2000. Were some if these rifles outfitted with the plastic stocks or should it have the wood stock? Thanks.

Has Ruger ever produced one in 5.5 in barrel? Thanks in advance.
