I got it fixed. The little plunger inside the bolt stop was frozen. I fixed it and it works now.

I bought a used 77 MKII in 30.06 about a year and a half ago. I love the way it shoots and wouldn't trade it for anything. However, when I clean it, the only way I can remove the bolt is to remove the screw holding the bolt stop and the screw. I cannot see how that bolt stop is supposed to...
