Are you gonna sell/trade your P series Ruger just because...

My P345 isn't going anywhere long as I'm around. I rarely ever part with a gun once I acquire it and that's one I would not consider letting go.

    Remember any of these?‏

Good stuff..........why I might even say, "the cat's meow".

    New P345 Owner Needs Feedback

I saw those P345s listed for sale by Buds recently. They had been unavailable until very recently, and I suspect they won't last long this time either since Ruger has ceased producing them. You have, in my opinon, bought yourself an excellent handgun. As others have already stated, avoid the...

    SR 45

Assuming that the gun is in good condition, that's an amazingly low price. If I were made such an offer, I'd want to run the serial number to make sure it wasn't stolen before I'd buy it. If the seller isn't willing to let you do that, walk away.

    Ruger 345 PR

The P 345 bit the dust about the same time Ruger introduced the SR 45. With two variations of the 1911 and the new SR 45, one must assume Ruger felt they had a broad enough offering of .45 ACP pistols without continuing the P 345. I'm certainly glad I have mine already. It's a great gun.

    Used 40 cals

I see a lot of 40s at my LGS as well and they are NOT police tradeins. I'm not sure if it's a reflection of the popularity of the 40 Cal., indicating there are a lot of them out there, or if it's a reflection of how unpleasant that caliber is to shoot for many shooters. I can say this, I...

    P345 slide markings

Shot in the dark here, but could it be that the stainless slides are made in Southport, Conn. and the blued slides are made in Prescot, Az. ?

All around best .45ACP for carry ? opinions ?

It's like asking who the best looking woman is. There's too much subjective judgement involved for any one answer to be agreed to by all. I own two 45 ACP pistols, a Colt Govt. Model, and a P345. I wouldn't part with either one, but the Ruger P345 is my gun of choice for personal protection...

    The Ruger p345 Problem ?

I own and carry a P345 and have not noted any issues such as described by the OP. My pistol is accurate and easy to operate. I think ABNRGR has given some good advice, try shooting it from a rest and see how it does.
