    7MM M77RS BARREL QUESTION

I came across a Tang Safety, Red Pad 7mm Magnum M77RS recently that I may be interested in. It was made in 1984, SN 78-331xx. Would you think it probably has a Wilson barrel or was Ruger making their own barrels by then? It's in good shape mostly. Looks like it's been a hunter but only a minor...

Replacement M77 Red/Orange Butt Pad Availability?

I recently bought an old M77RS Flatbolt .30-06. Some of you had helped me with that decision, thank you all for that. This nice rifle is factory original except that some previous owner has put an aftermarket butt pad on it. It was nicely done, but I'd like to return the gun to it's original...

    Flatbolt .30-06 value?

Well I went ahead and bought that rifle. I checked the stock and it had not been cut. It's in good original shape except for that replacement recoil pad which is nice, just not original. Where would I look for an original pad that would fit this Flatbolt? Thanks...

    Flatbolt .30-06 value?

Thank you all for responding. The stock appeared to be factory length, but I did not measure it. I think I'll go back and do that. Can you guys tell me what the factory length is from trigger to end of wood?

    Flatbolt .30-06 value?

jmfc606...thanks for the quick reply. That pad job really kills the value that much? Couldn't it be brought back to original appearance by installing the correct red pad? If I could buy it I would hunt with it, but I do take good care of my rifles in the field. Just thought it would be a good...

    Flatbolt .30-06 value?

I found one M77RS (iron sights) .30-06 Flatbolt in great shape. Someone put a different recoil pad on it but they did a nice job and did not cut the stock. They want $600 for it. I offered less and they said no as it's only been on the rack 2 weeks. Serial number 70-22xxx. Metal/blue looks new...

Price Check? M77R Tang Safety .250 Savage "New Condition"

It also wears a Leupold Vari-X II 3-9x40, also in new condition. Barrel has "Made in the 200th year etc" on it. Serial # 72-145xx (1977). Both gun & scope absolutely in perfect-new condition. LGS is asking $599.00. I've already got a .257 M77R Ultralight so I'm probably not gonna make an offer...

Please help educate me about No. 1's

I stopped by that Pawn Shop again today. The No 1 I originally asked you all about is still there. The shop manager offered it to me for $650.00 plus tax would make it $689.00 out the door. Is that a fair price?

Please help educate me about No. 1's

Are these #1V's an accurate rifle? All my other rifles are "hunting accurate" meaning 1"-1-1/2" at 100 yards, but I'd like to own at least one real "tack driver". This gun was made in 1978. Was that a good era for #1 construction?

Please help educate me about No. 1's

I came across one an hour ago that has me interested, but I thought it was a little pricey. It has a serial number of 131-326xx. Red recoil pad, 22" barrel, very nice wood and blue (looks new), very nice trigger, has Ruger scope rings on it, .22-250 caliber. Pawn shop is asking $849.99 for it...

    last handgun purchase

Hey Hittman, (or anyone else) I came across a GP100 yesterday that had those same factory compact grips and I like them. Are they at all rare? I wasn't really in the market for a GP100 but I'm giving this one I found in a pawn shop some consideration. It's blue, 6", and is like new, not even a...

    5.5" Redhawk holster?

I've got a Bianchi #111 "Cyclone" that my 5-1/2" Redhawk fits in perfectly. It's labeled to fit Ruger Redhawk and DW .44. It's been sitting in my safe for a while as my RH is mostly a range gun. It's in great shape and I'd be willing to sell it for $70.00 shipped if you're interested.

Your opinion's on these two M77's please?

Well, I bought the .257. It is in like new condition. I've got to load up some ammo and see how it shoots. It turns out it's a 20" Ultralight (black Ruger recoil pad) with a Redfield 4x Tracker scope. Made in 1990, small diameter barrel. It sure feels great in my hands and points nice, I just...
