Interesting build characteristics... (Glock vs SR9)

Despite their great reputation, I could never get past the ugly on a Glock. Therefore I purchased the Ruger SR9.

Ghost "Ultimate" Trigger on SR9 - Update and Solut

I had to take mine apart and bend the tang in a little to get a lighter trigger pull. However, I had none of the problems you described. What was the out come with Ghost Inc.? Please give us an update.

What's the alternative to an LC9?

In my neck of the woods, the Kahr CW9 is going for $379.00 + tax.

    sr9 hard slide problem

There's more than one way to rack the slide! Rather than holding the gun pointing out away from you and trying to rack the slide, hold the gun pointing across your chest pushing left and right at the same time. I'm old and arthitic also and this works easily well for me.

I would have to remove the sights, striker assembly, extractor, send it out and pay to have done, then reinstall the componets. Maybe I'll just experiment with the dremel and...

    Dulling the sheen

Thinking about trying to dull the sheen on the sides of the SR9 S.S. slide to match the satin look of the top of the slide. Could this be achived by using black emory cutting compound with a felt buffing wheel on a dremel? Any help would be appreciated.
