My LCP and I parted ways.

As long as we are talking about LCPs and lasers here is what I did to my homemade splatter target yesterday. I really do like this laser.

My LCP and I parted ways.

If you didn't like the G42 because it was too small then you sure wouldn't like the LCP. The reason you were pulling it to the left was probably poor stance or bad hand grip. Look at these videos http://www.tacticalshooting.com/videos. I love mine for close defensive carry. It is so easy to...

lcp slide won't go back on

Of course, before I start, I make sure the gun is unloaded. Holding the gun in my left hand, with my second finger on the pointed back end of the gun and my thumb on the front of the slide, I push the slide back about 1/8". At the same time with the pin in my right hand and down about 30 degrees...

lcp slide won't go back on

Hahaha, same situation as wideglide. Kept fiddling with it until until I saw that the return spring was not centered.

My LCP and I parted ways.

I wouldn't part with my LCP. I carry it concealed every day. So far 485 trouble free rounds and contrary to what some people say I really like to shoot mine. I keep the LaserLyte zeroed in at 7 yards. When I want to carry a BIG gun I strap on my Nano. Hahaha

    LCP Problem

I have 420 rounds through my LCP Gen2. Based on your post I just now inspected mine for a crack and didn't see one. Let us know what Ruger says.

    LCP AMMO

For carry I like Hornady American Gunner 90 gr XTP for the LCP and American Gunner 124 gr +P XTP for my 9mm Nano. They are both very reliable and I have seen good ballistics tests on these rounds.

Congratulations, ask me how I knew to do that.

lcp slide won't go back on

Make sure your recoil spring is centered on the barrel block.

    Open Carry Coming to Texas

There will probably be a little shock to some people the first time they see someone open carrying in Texas. Unless they have been hiding under a rock it will be hard to see how they missed hearing about open carry with the huge fight in the legislature. This was an unbelievably difficult piece...

    Open Carry Coming to Texas

Governor Abbott signed Open Carry and Campus Carry bills today. I still plan to continue carrying concealed.

    LCP problem

I have shot 100 rounds with the new pin. No problems but I didn't have any problems with the old pin.

    LCP problem

Go to http://www.tandemkross.com and search for LCP Tool-less takedown pin. I have one in my LCP and really like it.

    LCP magazine engagement

Usually when people are having trouble snapping in the mag it means that there needs to be a little more gap between the mag base plate and the grip. To open this gap up remove the base plate and sand a few thousands off of it following the curve of the base plate. Repeat as necessary.

Replace LCP stock spring with wolf 13lb?

In my opinion, the best way to take the snap out of the LCP is not to replace the spring but to install a Hogue Handall sleeve. It sure makes mine comfortable to shoot.
