    Ruger American in 10mm?

No . . . not for what the American is marketed toward. Not many people use a 10mm for duty work. I have only met one person in my life who actually carried a 10mm on duty . . . it was a Delta Elite. He shot a perp with it and he said the mess it made caused a lot of questions to be asked...

    Ruger SR45 frame

Are you wanting to mod a frame or repair a broken one? Ruger will replace any damaged frame as long as the serial number is there. No serial number . . . you are out of luck. Mostly because the removal of the serial number is a violation of federal law.

    P-90 Question

Some parts are, but nothing major. Good news is if something major gives they will offer you another model for an upgrade price.

    I'm done buying Ruger

This is your only reason??? Mine is due to a trend of unreliability, ugly designs and almost no quality control. I am tired of made in America being a selling point. The SR1911, the Mark 22s and revolvers are the only pistols I will even consider. The American is a nice gun but there is...

    Whaddya think would happen

+1000 on this one . . . amazing cartridge. If I had the funds an M1A in this caliber would be in my possession.

    LGS......Ruger P89 9mm for sale

Unless you just want to buy a P series to have one I wouldn't waste money. In my opinion they are now outclassed by most makes as far as accuracy, trigger weight, reset, etc. For $389 you can get a new Canik. I have shot the 2nd gen SA model and I am really impressed a budget Turkish gun can...

    Security 9

I shoot Winchester Forged steel case when I can't collect brass and through my XDs its amazing the accuracy I get, but some of the dirtiest factory ammo I have ever seen.

    P series triggers

Nature of the beast . . . average trigger, average accuracy, but indestructible. Just shoot them for what they are. The design was intended for duty/combat type shooting. They are not target guns and never will be. Not sure which DE you have, hand canon, 1911 or baby, but they are in a...

SR9E vs Security9 for first pistol?

Honestly I would go with the American. I think its better than both of those. I like the look of the Security 9 and the 9E, but feel the American is a better choice.

    I think I'll stick with .45

Actually . . . .460 Rowland LOL . . . I know its the same bullet, just a perfect comment at the time.

    SR1911 .45 added to collection

I know this is old, but unless going under 3lbs MIM will do just fine to get cleaned up. The trigger pull you got is nothing unusual. When SACS redid my RO they cleaned up the sear and hammer and it breaks at under 3. Now with that said, longevity is going to be sacrificed as a result. MIM...

Looking to Trade Glock 23 for P320

I have a slightly used G23 that I would like to trade for a P320, compact or full size, in 9mm or 40 s&w. I will post pics tonight if anyone is interested. I am in NC and looking to do a straight trade, you ship yours, I ship mine.

    Ruger P345

Didn't like the trigger on mine, but best feeling grip I have ever held. I only sold it because I couldn't hit squat with it.

I wanna buy a Ruger, but...

I also don't believe anything is truly made in the USA in a global economy. Ford, Chrysler and Chevrolet use parts sourced from Mexico to China. I imagine the cases that Rugers are shipped in come from China or some South East Asian market. Great holsters are made in Mexico and a good chunk...

I wanna buy a Ruger, but...

At one point their 1911 frames where finished to a percentage that they had to be stamped made in brazil. Then they moved to only producing the lower end ones there and using forgings that came out of the Embril or Imbril factory. Now they do not even claim they use these forgings anymore...
