    Pleasantly surprised with SR9C......

It's no surprise to me! I have high regard for mine and would buy another in a heartbeat. Excellent photos by the way. She sure is a shapely girl isn't she? Performance AND good looks!

    First Gun Purchase sr9c

Before. I just can't seem to find the right IWB for the 590!

    First Gun Purchase sr9c

Your experience sounds almost identical to mine and thus I'll warn you of the following: You WILL buy the SR22, then maybe a Mossberg 590a1 then an LC9......then a..well, you get the idea! The SR22 was my second purchase after the 9c and my wife was much more receptive to shooting it over the...

    Considering a LC9??

David, sorry to hear your LC9 experience was so poor. It's unfortunate that every one of these can't leave the assembly line in perfect tune. Just shouldn't be that way. I fired mine last weekend for the first time and it was flawless. I had a few reservations about the gun after all the...

    Well....it finally happened......

Nice skills! My 8 year old daughter is still learning the ropes of a Daisy 102, but I'm anxious to get her into a 10/22 at some point. Actually I want one and that helps justify it! It's interesting how accurate the cheap Blazer ammo is. I've run nothing else but this in my SR22 pistol and...

New SR40 Owner...The racking is odd...

The feed ramp on my 9c picks up a faint trace of "jacket" from the rounds as they slide in. It gets a thin coating on it and then a hand racked round just glides in easy. In other words a little dirt on the ramp actually improves mine. Sounds strange I guess.

    LC9 History, not good

We put 110 or so rounds through my new LC9 today and it ran flawlessly. Blazer Brass, 124+p Gold Dots....didn't skip a beat. I do NOT hate the trigger, and find it to be an amazingly soft shooter given its reduction in size and weight compared to my 9c. I expected it to be snappy in...

New SR40 Owner...The racking is odd...

My 9c can be just a touch sticky racking that 1st round when it has JUST been cleaned. The cleaner the feed ramp the more noticeable it is. Honestly never an issue other than making sure you sling that first round in firmly. My first round after cleaning is always a Gold Dot which probably...

    Considering a LC9??

Are the LC9s really that hard to find? LGS has had them for quite awhile at approx $425 with LM. I stumbled into a rural mom and pop "everything store" about an hour from home this past weekend while camping and picked one up with LM for $389. Couldn't pass it up at that price. Ran a few...

    Sunday Bibles and Bullets.....SR22 report

I got together with a friend today for a "church" session and was able to run 320 more rounds through my SR22. We did a mainly impromptu spinner target session at about 15 yrds with a few rounds on paper for good measure. The tiny triple spinner was a challenge at that distance for my amateur...

    Holster for the SR22

I have the Uncle Mikes size 1 IWB and I suppose it is okay. It's a place to put it while plinking and that's about it. Gander Mtn. had em for $11 and change so it was a small gamble.

Very happy first time gun owner (SR40c) (long post)

Excellent post and excellent shooting in my opinion. I'm pretty much a beginner like yourself so I can closely relate to your story. I'm running a 9c and my results have been fairly similar. These guns seem to be great shooters. I'd mainly like to add to your magazine discovery. The 17...

    SR22 Slide Damage

I really can't tell from your pictures, but mine has a very small plastic or steel pin/insert on the slide right at the rear edge of the contact area. It looks like an intentional insert to avoid the steel on aluminum contact that would result in damage. I've only run 120 rnds through mine...

    ruger sr22 on its way

I wouldn't worry with any of the expensive stuff unless you just want to try a certain load. I ran bulk Blazer 40 gr with no issues and many others have as well. This little gun is crazy fun and as mentioned, extra mags would be a good investment! As quick as it can eat ammo, you'll be...
