    Sighting in a 181- Series Mini14

I posted about this rifle before. Decided to play with it before making a decision as to what to do. I am adding the Accu-Strut and a different front sight. I am also going to teach myself to shoot left hand. I'm normally right hand, but am cross dominant and it's hate and discontent with...

    2023 best pocket gun.

I have never been a 380 fan. For years I have carried a S&W 642 in my pocket (pants, coat, shorts). I have transitioned to an EC9s as my primary carry, but I will drop the 642 into my coat pocket when it's cold outside.

    Any short torso people here?

I am not short torsoed but I am big bellied. IWB is not an option currently. OWB is better but the grip tends to stick out. I settled with my five shot 38 and pocket holster as being the most convenient option. Just a thought.

Mini 14: Upgrade It or Sell Off and Buy New

Thanks everyone for your replies. I think I'll start with Hylander's first suggestion. If I get reasonable accuracy I'll probably add a scope of some kind. Old eyes and cross-dominance makes rifle shooting more difficult for me than it ought to be.

Mini 14: Upgrade It or Sell Off and Buy New

I have an early Mini 14 with the pencil barrel and blade sight (181-47XXX) I bought in the 80's. Says it is a 223. Shot it once back in the 90's and the group was way off. Honestly don't know if it was me or the rifle. I like the look of the Mini 14 better than the AR platform, but I am...

Off topic, but I spend the first seven years of my life in Milford, PA. Moon Valley Road. I have never found anybody else from there.

    WTB - Secuity Six 3”, 4”, or 5” .357

There were special runs; think NYPD, that were 38-specials.

    870 remington shot gun

If you could be a little more verbose. Let us know your preferences for: 1. Barrel length. 2. Choke 3. 2 3/4 or 3-inch (did they may 2 3/4 only in the 70's?) 4. Rib or plain barrel (did they make a plain barrel in the 70's?) 5. Etc. I think this might help.

***SPF Simply Rugged Load Pancake Original Ruger Vaq 44 Mag

No it does not. What caliber? This is for a 44-mag so my guess is that it might work with a 44 special or 45 and be a little large for a 357.
