Way no, I hope you are right. Got it back today: has some slight scratches on the barrel, but no big deal. They made no mention of my issue of oil/gas escaping at seam of barrel where it attaches to monoblock. Will shoot Saturday to see. Fingers crossed...

Just spoke to Ruger CS. Gun is shipping, back to me on Thursday. They said they replaced the trigger, sears, hammers, stock, and refinished the whole gun. Sounds like I'm only getting back my original receiver and barrels! I'll report again after firing this weekend. Any comments about this "fix"?

I'm certainly not above operator error, but it didn't double fire very much when the top barrel was selected. It always did when the bottom barrel was selected. My ups tracking info confirmed that Ruger received it today in NH. I'll keep you posted.

Ups is picking it up tomorrow. I'll keep the forum updated. Other than these issues, I really like the gun. If they can correct the bugs, it should be fantastic. If so, and if they bring out a 20 gauge, I'll probably buy it for my 15 year old son.
