Pardon a stupid question from a non-hunter, but would the grey dampen out some glare that might affect your scope?

Your Right Arrow54 - there is just a little ring on it. And a close look at the front of the cylinder shows a little dirtier than you might expect from a gun with only one round thru it. My guess would be about 7 .454 Casulls. Oh well, I'll just have to deal with it - Thanks for not buying...
