    Seekjng a .22 SP101

I have decided to look at the Smith & Wesson Model 63. I can find them, expensive, and pretty apt to stay that way. I have to do a little research. They are available with a rebate at this time.

    The Cylinder Drag Mark

Well, I haven’t lost any sleep over it. I simply prefer not to have the marks. I’m not gonna worry about things I have no control over. After 71 years on this earth, I’m just playing with my toys. Guitars, fiddles, mandolins, motorcycles, single action .22 revolvers……to quote Alfred E...

    wrangler

I hope you folks get better accuracy than I get with my Wrangler. I can‘t leave a hole in an 8 x 10 sheet of paper if I shoot a five shot group. The first shot will make a hole, but the following four will go through the first hole, sucking the paper in behind it. By the time the fifth shot...

    Single Six Loose Sight Pin

My Bisley has a small problem. The pin that secures the rear sight to the frame works out. It is not long enough to brad, I was thinking maybe a slight bend in it could help keep it in place. That should be easy enough. Before I do that, though, I thought I would check with more experienced...

    The Cylinder Drag Mark

My 617 6 inch barrel model doesn’t make them, but the four inch barrel model does. Weird.

    The Cylinder Drag Mark

I have a couple of Pietta .22 revolvers, and a couple of Uberti .22 revolvers, and there is nary a drag mark on them. Yep, I shoot them. Is there a way to time the Ruger Single six revolvers to eliminate that mark around the cylinder ? It is not a big deal with stainless, but the blued models...

    MkIV Accuracy between models ?

I’m looking at the Ruger MKIV target, 5.5, and wondering if I get the factory threaded version in SS, is it any less accurate than the competition or hunter model ? The shorter barrel make any accuracy difference ?

    Ruger Bisley Magnum cylinder

I was lucky the same way! The cylinder was purchased from ebay, and fit my Bisley perfectly.

    Seekjng a .22 SP101

I really don’t mind paying for a good one. I don’t mind paying a premium for a premium example. When premium prices are asked for a mediocre piece , with a fifteen percent markup over premium prices, I get a little irritated, get silent, and move on.

Any love for the Ruger .22 Bisley ? Mag Capable ?

I found a .22 mag cylinder on ebay, and took a chance on it. It fit right in my Bisley with a five thousandths cylinder gap. I popped a note off to Ruger, since the Bisleys were only offered in .22LR to see if the barrel was compatible with the WMR round, and it was good to go. Ruger is not...
