Good old WD-40 has a lot of effective uses, but I'm not a fan of it for firearms use because the way it dries, becoming tacky and gummy and I have had the same results with Super-Lube. The ubiquitous 3-In-One Oil did very well also.
Hey Guys!
I've just completed a 192 hour test on several different gun oil products. I have uploaded the 3.24 mb file in PDF format that you can download here:

The Leupold VXIII 2.5 X 8 X 36 is perhaps one of the best all-around riflescopes on the market. This scope is bright, both Early and late when it counts.
It has excellent eye relief, which is a big plus when it's intended use is for a No.1. It just looks good a No.1, and would serve your RSI...
Here's a recipe I use in elk hunting camp and it's so easy.

In my initial post I forgot to mention that the safe is elevated four inches from the floor for better ventilation. At my current residence the only real option for storing the safe is on the concrete floor of the detached garage. Inside the house would be much better but impossible because of...

It's my understanding that the SBH Hunter in .45 Colt has been discontinued and that's why I snapped up this find last week. I'm still on the prowl for a SBH Hunter in .44 and a Single Six Hunter.
Roofie,
The pad you see pictured is indeed a Pachmayr pad that ordered from Brownell's last year. I took a spin through their website and didn't find it. I'd call Pachmayr to find one...surely there is one out there to be had!
Good luck!

What I was calling wet sanding is the same as the wet slurry sanding you refer to.
French Red is available in clear and colors as sealers and stains. The original products if memory serves was by a company called Herter's. It has been used by a lot of custom stock makers to duplicate the...
Hey guys thanks for the kind words!
An oil finish is easy to do, maintain, and repair if necessary. The Purdey’s Warthog and the Napier of London gun stock refinishing kits are good products. IMHO, Birchwood Casey's Tru-Oil is also quite an excellent product that is cheap and available...
Thanks to all for the kind words!
The final finish you see in done Birchwood Casey's Tru-Oil. I removed the factory finish with a product called a Citra-Strip. The factory finish is very tough...but the Citra-Strip will take it off.
What you refer to as plywood is really a product most...
